Scroll saw patterns and pens designed by Barry Gross, an experienced woodworker / artisan with over 30 years of diverse experience working in several different and exotic media using both a scroll saw and a lathe. Barry is a member of various wood working associations including several scroll saw and turning associations and is actively involved with enhancing the art of scroll sawing and pen making through teaching at various woodworking locations. He has won several awards for his unique scroll saw designs and recently has been selected to join the Pen Maker's Guild. In 2005 he was commissioned to make a "Stars & Stripes" pen for the Speaker of The House of Representatives - Dennis Hastert. In August 2002, the New York Aquarium commissioned him to
create a sculpture for their Alien Stinger exhibit. In
