On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress seeking to promote national pride and unity, adopted the national flag."Resolved; that the flag of the United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constitution!"
This Betsy Ross pen is based on the first flag made by Betsy Ross for George Washington in June 1776. Each of the thirteen stars and stripes are cut with a laser and then hand assembled and finished to this luster.
The pen is a new and unique design. It is the ultimate in comfort for enjoyable writing!
The front section is a unique three sided shape-somewhat like a indented triangle. This creates an extremely comfortable grip surface. The shape is interesting and pleasing to the eye and this blends together with the Betsy Ross inlay creating an enjoyable looking fine writing instrument!
