Description
On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress seeking to promote national pride and unity, adopted the national flag, "Resolved; that the flag of the United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constitution!"
This Betsy Ross pen is based on the first flag made by Betsy Ross for George Washington in June 1776. Each of the thirteen stars and stripes are cut with a laser and then hand assembled and finished to this luster.
The Betsy Ross Flag Pen comes in a custom engraved Cherry wooden pen box. The pen utilizes a "Parker Style" refill which is readily available at any stationary store. Parker style refills are available in the Pens Accessories & Supplies section of this website.
