Description
Fossilized Shark Vertebrae are cleaned and reamed out to fit hand painted pen tubes. Each individual vertebrae is then placed by hand onto the painted pen tube and adhered in place. The assembly is then placed into a mold and cast with with colored resin under pressure. Once cured, the blank is turned on a lathe, a lasting finish is applied and then is matched to the appropriate pen components.

The pen comes in an engraved Shark Cherry wooden box and if a rollerball is your selection, it will utilize a "Schmidt Style" rollerball refill which is readily available at any stationary store. If you are choosing a fountain pen, cartridges or a converter may be used. However, these refills and fountain pen ink is available in the Pens Accessories & Supplies section of this website.
