Deer grow and shed antlers annually. Males typically begin growing a new set of antlers in late spring. Older male deer may have 6 points or more on their rack. The antler that is used to make these pens are from deer who naturally shed their antlers yearly.
Every deer antler pen WILL BE different. Some may have the outside bark showing others may not and that is how Mother Nature intended it to be!
