A Word About Pen Kit Coatings:
24kt gold plating - basic finish
Brushed Satin Finish - A very durable low luster metal coating.
Titanium Nitride (TN) - Looks just like 24kt gold but is Absolutely permanent!
Platinum Coating - It is really a Rhodium coating which is from the platinum family and is very resistant to tarnishing and scratch resistant!
This stabilization process fills the cell structure of the wood and catalyzes creating a much more durable product that can be finished to a high luster and is impervious to climactic changes because microscopic individual cells are now solid acrylic.

Hot Stuff Cyanoacrylate Glue - "CA Glue"
Use the red "thin" CA glue to coat the inside of wooden pen blanks. This is done to give the pen tube something extra to bond to.
The yellow "super T" is a thicker CA glue and it is placed on the pen tube before it is inserted into the wooden pen blank.
The green "special T" is the thickest and has gap filling qualities.
